These terms apply when you use our website or book a photography session with OBIsonic Digital Photography. By making a booking, you agree to these terms.
Bookings and payment
- A booking is considered confirmed once we have received your completed booking information and any necessary deposit.
- Deposits are usually non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
- The balance is due by the date indicated on your invoice or booking confirmation.
- We may hold the delivery of your photos if payment has not been received.
Cancellations and rescheduling
- Please inform us whenever you need to cancel or reschedule your session.
- The deposit will be retained to cover your reserved time according to the session date interval.
- We will provide a reschedule option or a refund for all paid session fees during any necessary cancellations of our services due to illness or emergency situations.
During the session
- Please make sure we are allowed to photograph at the chosen location (for example, venue permission or permits if needed).
- The success of our work relies on the active engagement of all participants. We are not responsible for missed shots because of late arrivals, venue restrictions, or any situations which we cannot control, such as weather conditions or venue regulations.
Style, editing and files
- By booking, you confirm you are happy with our general style as shown in our portfolio.
- We choose which images to edit and deliver, and how they are edited, using our professional judgement.
- We normally provide edited digital files. Raw, unedited files are not supplied unless agreed beforehand.
- Small retouching is included; complex or detailed edits may be charged separately.
Delivery of images
- We aim to deliver images within the approximate timeframe we give you at the time of booking, but this may vary slightly depending on workload or unexpected delays.
- Images are usually delivered via online gallery or digital download.
- Once you have received your images, please make your own backups. We do keep backups where possible, but we cannot promise to store every file forever.
Use of images and copyright
- Copyright for the images remains with OBIsonic Digital Photography.
- Once you have paid in full, you receive a licence to use the images for personal use (for example, printing for yourself, sharing with family and friends, and posting on personal social media, with credit where possible).
- For business or branding shoots, the licence will be explained clearly in your booking or contract (for example, use on website, social media or printed materials).
- Images must not be sold, heavily altered or used for other commercial purposes without our written permission.
- We may share selected images in our portfolio, on our website and on social media, unless you ask us not to and we agree in writing.
7. Client content
If you are giving us any logos, text, or any other material to incorporate into your images or designs, you are guaranteed to have the authority to use it, and it does not infringe upon the rights of any person or entity.
Our responsibility
We always aim to provide a friendly, professional service and to handle your images with care. However, we cannot be responsible for events we genuinely cannot control, such as severe weather, sudden illness, venue rules, or major technical failures. If something like this happens, we will work with you to find a fair solution.
Website use
- You agree not to misuse our website or try to interfere with its normal operation.
- Text and images on the site are owned by or licensed to us and should not be copied without permission.
